'First Night Youngstown' once again scaled back for COVID-19 restrictions
According to Youngstown City Councilwoman, Samantha Turner, the city will only be setting off fireworks this year to ring in the new year.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - "First Night Youngstown" has once again been scaled back for its 2021 celebration due to COVID-19 restrictions.
According to Youngstown City Councilwoman, Samantha Turner, the city will only be setting off fireworks this year to ring in the new year.
Turner says the fireworks will be set off at midnight on the night of Friday, Dec. 31 from the Market St. Bridge.
Turner tells 21 News there are usually two firework displays with one at 9:00 p.m. and another at midnight. However, the city will only be holding a midnight show this year.
