CAMPBELL, Ohio - Students in the Campbell City School District are learning remotely Monday and Tuesday after amember of the Campbell City Schools family passed away.

Campbell Elementary and Middle School Principal Jim Klingensmith died unexpectedly on Friday.

A letter from Superintendent Matthew Bowen said the district will have remote learning for all students on December 20 and 21, but buildings will be open for in-person student grief counseling.

The Crisis Response Team will be available to meet with students to help with any feelings that students may have.

Parents can call the school and schedule a time to meet with a counselor Monday and Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Klingensmith worked as an educator for 20 years.
