Crews battling flames at a home in Beaver Township had to temporarily pull back after losing water pressure.
Shortly before 5 a.m. Monday, firefighters shut down the 10400 block of South Avenue not far from the Lake Club. The road was closed to protect fire hoses stretched across the street. One lane of the road was open again after 9 a.m.
The first firefighters on the scene reported heavy smoke coming from the home. Investigators say no one was home at the time.
After about twenty minutes on the scene, firefighters were ordered to pull back after running out of water. The pressure was restored shortly after and firefighters resumed battling the blaze.
