Youngstown man charged with sex crimes against teen in Weathersfield

WEATHERSFIELD TWP., Ohio - A Youngstown man remains held in the Trumbull County Jail on half-a-million dollars bond, accused of sex offenses against a teenager.
Brian Baldwin, 37, was arrested on Christmas Day. Weathersfield Police charged him with three felony counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Baldwin is charged under the Ohio law making it illegal to engage in sexual conduct with anyone aged 13 to fifteen.
Police say the alleged crime took place on Christmas Eve.
No plea was entered during Baldwin’s hearing in Niles Municipal Court on Monday. Judge Christopher Shaker issued a criminal protection order on behalf of the alleged victim.
Another court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
