Beaver Twp. murder suspect remains jailed on $2M bond

A 62-year-old Beaver Township man remains held in the Mahoning County jail on a $2 million bond following his arraignment on charges of murder and grand theft.
Gerald McMannis was arraigned in the Mahoning County Common Court on Tuesday following an indictment handed up by a grand jury.
McMannis is accused of murdering Joseph Catullo at his Beaver Township home.
Officers were called out to Joseph Catullo's home on Lesher Road and found Catullo's body on November 17.
Police later arrested McMannis driving a pick-up truck that was taken from the victim's home. McMannis lives at the same address.
The next court hearing for McMannis is scheduled for January 3.
