YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown Police responded to a call of a male knocking on the doors of houses along Powersdale Dr. claiming he was robbed. 

When they arrived, they found Warren resident standing in the street, claiming he was robbed after going to meet a date on the Plenty of Fish dating website. 

The man claims that when he arrived at his date's house around 4:00a.m. New Year's Day, three men holding guns and wearing masks ordered the man to get into his own Chevy Silverado pick-up truck. 

The victim says he rode in the truck with one male while the two others rode in the bed of the truck. 

The driver pulled over and the two men in the bed of the truck and started assaulting him. They also took his phone, license and other miscellaneous cards. 

He was able to run away from the men, and found someone to call police for him. 

At around 8:30 a.m. Youngstown Police spotted the victim's stolen Chevy Silverado on Garland Avenue on the East Side, but were unable to stop after the truck began speeding and swerving into the oncoming lane. 

Police saw a female fall out of the passenger side door when the truck turned onto Miami and Stewart Avenue. She was barefoot, and began walking towards to woods along the side of the street. 

The woman claimed that she was kidnapped by the men driving the stolen truck and that they pushed her out of the passenger side door. 

She was later taken to the hospital by ambulance. 

Police identified one person of interest, but are still investigation the incident.
