WARREN, Ohio - Six students in the Mahoning Valley have been nominated to attend national service academies.

The nominations were made by Congressman Tim Ryan to U.S. military academies.

"This group represents some of Ohio's most skilled, talented, and accomplished students," said Congressman Ryan. "Our service academies will develop them into leaders not only for our military, but for our world. Our future is bright in their hands, and I am grateful to have the privilege to nominate them. I have no doubt they will make our country proud."

Each applicant completed an application and interviewed with the 13th District Nomination Committee.
