Lordstown Mayor endorses Matt Dolan for Senate

WARREN, Ohio - Lordstown Mayor Arno Hill endorsed U.S. Senate candidate, Matt Dolan early Monday afternoon in Warren.
Dolan made an appearance at Sunrise Inn in Warren to speak to Mahoning Valley voters about his campaign for the U.S. Senate.
Mayor Hill tells 21 News that the reason for his endorsement is that he likes the message he's putting out and that he doesn't seem like a typical politician.
"I like the message. He has been in town in the Mahoning Valley before. It's not like he all of a sudden decided to run and decided to come in, and I feel he would be an excellent U.S. Senator," Mayor Hill said.
Mayor Hill went on to say that he supports the policies that Dolan is promoting such as addressing issues with the border and inflation. Dolan says he thinks that message is what is resonating with his voters.
"Voters are seeing that I'm the only one in this race that has produced conservative results that can attack those problems and produce positive results," Dolan said.
Dolan tells 21 News that the Mahoning Valley is not just important to his campaign, but to Ohio as a whole.
"In my time in the legislature, I've worked closely with Youngstown and Mahoning Valley businesses to make sure that whatever we can do for the state to make them thrive, I want to do that and I will do the same as a U.S. Senator," Dolan said.
