Campbell basketball team shows support for young student

Even before practice prior to their biggest game of the season, the Campbell basketball team took time to spend time with a young student.
Five year old Phillip Igo is a kindergarten student in the district and has battled cancer and leukemia over the years.
He and his parents were special guests at Campbell's practice Tuesday afternoon.
"He wanted to come by and meet the guys," said Coach Nick Canterino. "It's the least we can do, slap his hand and tell him we're thinking about him."
The team presented Phillip with a autographed basketball and slapped high five with him.
"It's a sad situation and we'll do anything we can do help," said Canterino who's team plays Cardinal Mooney in the regional semi finals in Canton.
The team is hoping to wear T-shirts during warmups tonight in support of Phillip.
Members of the Campbell Police Department were also hand to show their support to the Igo family.
