State Wrestling: Cmil & Duncan fall in finals
The two were the only locals in the finals

South Range's Ray Cmil and Chalker's Landen Duncan fell short in the State Wrestling Finals.
Cmil (132 lbs.) lost to Hunter Long of Wayne Trace 5-2, and Chalker's Landen Duncan (120 lbs.) was pinned by Dillion Campbell of Legacy Christian at 1:07 of the first period. Duncan, a junior, finished with a 35-6 record and was fourth in 2021.
Cmil, a senior, was in the state tournament for a second time and finished the season 41-2.
