Boardman elementary school celebrates 8 sets of twins, 1 set of triplets

If you happen to stroll through Stadium Drive Elementary school in Boardman, chances are you might do a double take.
The school has eight sets of twins and one set of triplets!
"I had no clue, actually just found out today there were this many, I knew there were a couple others but I had no clue there were 9 sets of multiples here at the school," Julie Liebig, the parent of twin girls in 2nd grade said.
"Not in my 22 years of education to have this many in a school, we've had a couple here," said Michael Zoccali, Principal at Stadium Drive.
To mark the rare occurence, the PTA and school organized a photo shoot with all 19 students, to give them their very own special page in the yearbook.
"We thought it would be kind of a fun little cool idea to do, have all the kids get dressed up the same as their sibling and just recognize them in our yearbook," Zoccali said. "This doesn't come around too often."
While each child shares a special bond with their sibling, Zoccali says it's also neat to see them forging their own path.
"The cool thing with this is, they are all different, they all have different friends, they have different personalities, they participate in different activities but at the same time they also, you can tell they are siblings, not just by appearance but also how they care and support each other as well so it is nice to see," Zoccali said.
Even if it means seeing double!
Fun fact: Stadium has approximately 340 students and 9 sets of multiples. Robinwood has about 360 students with two sets of twins and West has 413 students with 3 sets of twins.
