First lady Fran DeWine visiting Valley for multiple promotional stops Thursday

Ohio first lady Fran DeWine is set to spend Thursday in Northeast Ohio with several stops in the Mahoning Valley slated for her schedule.
Mrs. DeWine will visit the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley alongside Warren City Schools superintendent Steve Chiaro. Chiaro is expected to provide information about a partnership between the food bank and district. That event will begin at 4:30 p.m. on April 7.
The first lady's day in the valley will send her to the Lake Club a few hours later. She will deliver the keynote address at an annual meeting for the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley at 6 p.m.
Mrs. DeWine is supposed to promote the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library during that speech. The Ohio Governor's Imagination Library mails kids one age-appropriate book each month until their 5th birthday. All kids in Ohio are eligible to be enrolled in the program at no cost to their family. Over 315,000 Ohioan children are in the program, the Governor's office says.
These non-profits are just two of four stops Mrs. DeWine will make Thursday. The first lady also has appearances planned at two pregnancy care centers, one located in Kent and another in Ashland.
Those stops will happen earlier Thursday morning and afternoon.
