Man accused of shooting Youngstown woman in the head arrested in Atlanta

YOUNGSTOWN - A man that is accused of shooting a Youngstown woman in the head in March has been arrested in Atlanta, Georgia.
Youngstown Police responded to S Truesdale Avenue on March 21st after reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a woman shot in the head, but still conscious. She was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
On March 29th, Youngstown Police were notified that 26-year-old Davelle Heath was taken into custody at the Atlanta Airport by U.S. Customs Agents and Atlanta Police after they discovered several outstanding warrants relating to the attack.
Police say Heath was attempting to board a flight to London, England when he was taken into custody.
He was extradited back to Youngstown on Wednesday, where he was interviewed by Youngstown Police and then arrested.
Heath was arraigned in court on Friday.
