One person was taken to the hospital after a crash at a Boardman intersection sent two cars careening into nearby parking lots.
The accident happened just before 5:00 AM at the intersection of West Boulevard and Route 224.
Police on scene tell 21 News the vehicles crashed in the intersection but ended up in parking lots on opposite sides of the road.
The impact left debris scattered across the road and caused a sign to crash through the window of a nearby store.
Police shut down Route 224 briefly to clean up the road. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
