SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Lawrence Co., Pa. -  Police in a Lawrence County, Pennsylvania community are hoping someone can help them find the truck they believe pulled down wires and kept on driving.

The Shenango Township Police Department posted images on their Facebook page asking the public to help locate and identify three vehicles.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the intersection of New Butler Road and State Road on Thursday to investigate a report of downed wires.

Police say they learned that the wires were struck by an oversized load being hauled by a tractor-trailer.

Police say they looked at a video that shows a truck striking the wires.

Investigators say the truck was accompanied by a lead and trail pilot car.

The lead car appears to be a black Chrysler 300 or similar type vehicle.

The trail car appears to be a smaller Volkswagen SUV.

None of the vehicles stopped or reported the incident.

Police ask anyone with information to call their non-emergency dispatch at 724-654-2243.
