The candidates that will go head to head in November for current Commissioner Frank Fuda's empty seat have been decided.
On the Republican side, Denny Malloy has been nominated for the candidacy. In the primary, Malloy went up against Rick Hernandez and Christina Lee. Malloy ended with about 44% of the Republican vote.
The Democrats have nominated Michael O'Brien to run against Malloy in November's general election. He came out on top with 81% of the vote, defeating his opponent David Guarino.
