Police are investigating after a woman reported being carjacked in the driveway of her Boardman home less than a block from Shields Road and Market Street.

A 20-year-old Stanton Avenue woman told township police that two men walked up to her car and asked for a dollar.

When she replied “No”, the woman said the two pulled guns, one possibly equipped with a silencer.

She said she was ordered to get out of her car and the two men drove away, stopping at Southern Boulevard to pick up two other men.

Police tracked the woman’s cell phone using the “find me” app to a dumpster at the Jaylex Center on Glenwood Avenue in Youngstown, three miles away from the woman’s home.

They also found the woman’s tennis shoes that had been in the car when it was taken.

Police have descriptions of the suspects and are checking security videos from nearby businesses to see if they can identify the suspects.
