A 12 year-old from Youngstown has been missing for more than a week.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is now asking the public for their help finding her.

They say, Makayla Popio was last seen on May 31, 2022, when she left her home in Youngstown and did not return.

Officials believe Makayla may still be in Ohio. they say she could be in Youngstown or the surrounding areas, including Lake Milton.

Makayla is 5-foot-4-inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. She is a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo on the left side of her chest.   

Anyone with information on Makayla or her whereabouts is asked to call the Youngstown Police Department at 1-330-747-7911 or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST.
