A new "overtime rule" in the MLB Draft League gave the Scrappers a 6-5 win over State College today.

Before every game the home team manager decides to play offense or defense in the extra half inning.

State College chose defense and the Scrappers started with Mark Herron at first base. The Scrappers loaded the bases and Shane Tillman laced a single to left scoring Herron.

Its the first time the new rule was used in a MLB Draft League game.
