A warrant is out for the arrest of a Warren man accused of pulling a woman out of his car and running over her leg.

One count of felonious assault was filed against 54-year-old Michael Mansfield.

Police were called to the 200 block of Tod Avenue NW Saturday afternoon and found a 52-year-old woman sitting on the curb. The woman’s leg was scuffed, bloody, and swollen, according to the police report.

The woman told officers that she and Mansfield had been arguing about money in his car when she grabbed the ignition keys.

The woman says Mansfield got out of the car, pulled her from the passenger side, knocked her to the parking lot, and ran over her leg as he drove away.

The woman, who was unable to walk, was taken to Trumbull Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Police spoke with two men who say they witnessed the woman being pulled from the car and pushed down to the ground before being struck by the car.
