YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - With the 2022-23 school year back in full swing for many students throughout the Valley, WRTA is seeking to recognize the contributions of secondary schools throughout the Valley.

Throughout the month of September, WRTA will be highlighting what they describe as "all-star schools" in a series of TV commercials, on social media, on buses, and on the digital signs at Federal Station.

"We want the community to know how our local all-star schools add value and improve the lives of your students, their families, and their community," said WRTA Executive Director Dean Harris.

All Mahoning County high schools will be highlighted during this campaign. High schools can also be highlighted individually in TV and social media ads and point out the aspects that make their school special. These messages can even feature students, teachers, and administrators.

Six schools responded and decided to participate at the individual level, including Jackson-Milton High School, Boardman High School, Ursuline High School, West Branch High School, and Youngstown Rayen Early College High School.

You can watch for advertisements honoring these schools individually and all Mahoning County Schools throughout September.
