One suspect in a shooting in Ashtabula on Tuesday night was found and arrested in Poland Wednesday afternoon.

Ashtabula Police responded to a call Tuesday evening just after 8:30 regarding a shooting near the intersection of Ohio Avenue and Lambros Lane. Police say they observed a man, later identified as 25-year-old Fredrick Johnson lying in the road with a gunshot wound to the head.

Two suspects were located and arrested by the Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office in Roaming Shores within an hour after the shooting.

The following afternoon, a third suspect was found in Poland by the Mahoning County Safe Streets (FBI) Task Force. This suspect is presently being held on arrest warrants with the Geneva Police Department unrelated to the shooting.

The suspects have not been identified at this time, as their charges are pending and they are all awaiting arraignment. It is unclear what the warrants the suspect in Poland is being held on are regarding at this time.
