Warren man accused of smashing Children Services windows back in jail

WARREN, Ohio - A Warren man accused of using a baseball bat to smash windows at the Trumbull County Children's Services office is back in jail.
According to court records, an arrest warrant was issued for 38-year-old Jeremy Feidler after failing to appear in court Thursday to answer a vandalism charge.
The warrant was withdrawn after Feidler turned himself in later that day.
Feidler was first arrested Wednesday morning after police say he smashed the glass door and windows of the Children's Services office on Reeves Road, causing $6,000 in damage.
According to TCCS Executive Director Timothy Schaffner, a receptionist locked the front door just as the suspect began hitting the glass approximately 10 to 15 times with the bat.
Schaffner said the Warren City Police and Trumbull County Sheriff's deputies responded quickly, but the suspect had fled.
No one was injured in the attack.
As of Friday morning, Feidler remained in the county jail awaiting a video arraignment.
