YOUNGSTOWN - A man has been charged in connection to a shooting that killed one person at the Shell gas station on South Avenue in late December. 

Youngstown Police issued a warrant for murder on January 3 for 29-year-old Akeem Hargrove in connection with the homicide of 26-year-old Devin Bell. 

At the time the warrant was issued, Hargrove was already booked into MCSO on unrelated charges. 

Police were dispatched to the Shell on South Avenue and Samuel Avenue around 2:30 a.m. on December 22, 2022 after Bell was found shot inside a Chevy Cruz that was riddled with bullets. 

The initial police reports says two males in all black and ski masks were seen running from the scene on foot. 

Youngstown Police are continuing the investigation as additional persons may be involved.
