Third suspect in Rowan Sweeney murder appears in court

The third and final suspect in the robbery that claimed the life of a four-year old boy in Struthers---appeared in court for the first time to answer to his charges.
Andre McCoy was arrested at a Youngstown home after two years on the run - and learned the charges he's facing.
The 22-year-old plead not guilty to all 13 charges he's facing, which include multiple counts of aggravated murder after an alleged robbery gone wrong. One that claimed the life of four-year-old Rowan Sweeney. His dad, in attendance on Wednesday, believes justice is on the way.
"We're one step closer, we finally have the third guy. Now we can just focus all of our energy on getting the trials complete. Getting them convicted.", said David Sweeney.
Trials for the other two suspects Brandon Crump and Kimonie Bryant will begin later this year. Bryant also appeared in court for a pretrial hearing where the defense argued against the death penalty.
"You have the authority to do this, your job as a trial judge allows you to rule on the constitutionality of anything that's in front of you.", said Attorney John Juhasz, as he made his plea to Judge Anthony D'Apolito.
With trials for the co-defendants in the case starting in just months, Judge D'Apolito asked the prosecution to bring McCoy and his defense up to speed in a timely manner. McCoy is being held without bond in the Mahoning County Jail. A pretrial hearing for McCoy is slated for February 15th.
