WARREN, Ohio - Police are investigating after someone shot up a Warren home.  The couple living there tell officers they have no idea why.

Two officers were called to a home on the 2000 block of Jackson Street SW just before 2 a.m. Wednesday where they found bullet holes in the walls, window, and a door.

According to the police report, the living room window had been shot four times, the front door had one bullet hole, and the outside wall of the home was shot twice.

Inside the home, officers found bullet holes in the living room, including a couch cushion and a thermostat.

Bullets also struck the home’s kitchen, putting a hole in a drawer.

Police recovered two of the 9 mm bullets from the home and found twelve 9mm shell casings in the street.

The 67-year-old resident and his 47-year-old wife, neither of whom were injured, told police they have lived at the home for 14 years and have no idea who would have fired the shots, or why.
