JCC, other local agencies distributing food to JMeals program recipients

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation is partnering with MYCAP, Save-A-Lot and Youngstown State University to distribute food to those in need.
It will be held Sunday, March 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the front entrance of Akiva Academy (505 Gypsey Lane).
The distribution is for Youngstown residents that Jewish Family & Community Services has been working with.
More than $16,000 of food is being donated. MYCAP contributed $15,000 and Save-A-Lot added another $1,000.
The JMeals program is a collaboration between agencies of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation that provides meal giveaways to Youngstown residents meeting certain eligibility requirements.
The program is not accepting new clients for the meal program at this time.
