Mill Creek Golf Course partially reopens, expected to fully reopen Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - After a lengthy delay due to power outages and weather damages, the Mill Creek Golf Course has partially reopened on Tuesday and is expected to fully reopen on Thursday.
Head Golf Professional, Stacie Butler tells 21 News that the first nine holes of the south course have reopened on Tuesday and will remain open weather permitting. The other half of the course is expected to open on Thursday.
Additionally, the driving range is expected to reopen on Thursday. Par 3 Golf Course has reopened on Tuesday and will remain open weather permitting.
The golf course had to delay its reopening when the Valley was hit with heavy winds and widespread power outages over the weekend of April 1.
Even after the power came back on, course staff had to deal with a major cleanup as a result of wind damages.
