Within hours, shots ring out in three Warren neighborhoods

WARREN, Ohio - Warren police were kept busy investigating reports in three neighborhoods where shots were fired within hours of each other.
A 26-year-old woman called officers to her house on the 1400 block of Jefferson St. SW late Monday after a bullet went through her front window and into a wall near her child’s bed.
The woman told police that some neighbors had been outside firing a rifle into the air.
No one was hurt.
Five hours later, officers were dispatched to the same neighborhood to investigate reports of shots fired and found five .45 caliber shell casings in the street.
In between those calls, an officer patrolling downtown Warren heard shots, which were fired on the 500 block of Bonnie Brae SE. No one was there. However, the officer recovered five shell casings on the road.
Around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday a 33-year-old homeowner on the 500 block of Fairfield St. NE heard shots. Investigating officers say a bullet went through the front window of the home and into the ceiling.
