A Farrell man pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to conspiring to distribute a variety of drugs.

According to the release, 32-year-old Khiry Whiteside pled guilty to conspiring to distribute cocaine, heroin and fentanyl.

Whiteside was one of 25 people arrested on drug charges back in June 2021 after a year-long investigation in Mercer and Lawrence counties.

The Department of Justice said Whiteside and the 24 others arrested during the 2021 roundup "peddled dozens of kilos" of drugs in Western Pennsylvania.

Whiteside faces up to 30 years in prison and a $2 million fine.

His sentencing is scheduled for August 21.
