Twenty-seven teens will be receiving their very own "Eagle of the Cross" awards from the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown Monday evening.

According to a press release, the award is presented to "extraordinary" upperclassmen in the six counties of the Diocese of Youngstown who model Christian discipleship and exemplify the qualities of moral integrity, prayer, good works and and Christian leadership in their school and parish communities.

The yearly award was introduced back in 1999.

The awards will be presented by Diocese of Youngstown Bishop, The Most Rev. David J. Bonnar at a ceremony at Saint Columbia Cathedral in Youngstown beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The names of the winners in the Mahoning Valley are as follows:

COLUMBIANA COUNTY:
