With summer comes fairs and festivals season, with music, food, games, rides, drinks, and more.

Here is a list of some of the events happening by month throughout the season so you don't miss your favorite summer event or click here to see more events on WFMJ.com.

JUNE

June 3: Croatian Festival. Noon-8 pm. 4202 Smith-Stewart Road, Vienna. Admission is $8 (cash only), under 12 years old are admitted free. Music, dancing, food, cookie table.

June 3: Columbiana Wine Festival. 4 pm to 9 pm, The Barn at Firestone Farms, 1501 Eisenhower Blvd., Columbiana. $40 admission

June 9-11: Rally at Route 46. 5700 Patriot Blvd., Austintown. Free event. Music, food, vendors

June 10: Warren Flea and Farmers Market, 428 Main Avenue SW, Warren. This event happens every Tuesday and Saturday from 8 am-4 pm

June 10, 11: Weathersfield Flag Day Festival. 1451 Prospect Street, Weathersfield. Music, rides, games, food

June 11: Riverfest. 11 am to 4 p.m., Spring Commons Park, 534 Mahoning Avenue. Food, Music, Kayaking and artists.

June 16-17: Simply Slavic Heritage Festival. 110 W. Federal Street, Friday 5 pm to 11 pm; Saturday Noon to 12 am; music, dance, food, exhibits, vendors. Admission is $5 per person.

June 16-18: St. Jude & Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Festival, 180 7th Street, Columbiana. 4 pm to 9 pm each day. Food games, raffles, kids funland, fun run.

June 17: Full Spectrum Pride in the Valley Festival. Noon to 9 pm. Courthouse Square Warren, 161 High St NW. Entertainment, vendors, beer garden, games.

June 17-18: Juneteenth Cultural Event. Wean Park, 229 E Front Street, Youngstown. Saturday, 11 am to 8 pm; Sunday Noon to 6 pm. Music, food and crafts.

June 22-24: Ribs-N-Rock Festival. Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St., Boardman. Admission is free until 3 pm, $7 person. Food, music, including: June 22, The Clarks with Bad JuJu Cleveland and Triple Threat; June 23 – Fuel with Negative Zen, RDNA and No Funk No Justice; June 24, The Gin Blossoms with Turbo Lovers, AC & The Heat and EPIC Band.

June 23: Ohio Viking Festival. Trumbull Fair Grounds, 899 Everett Hull Rd., Cortland. Friday, 4 pm to 10 pm; Saturday 10 am to 6 pm; Sunday 10 am to 6 pm.  Vikings and vendors. Admission $12.50, Child $6.50.

June 23-24: Cortland Community Street Fair. Main Street, Cortland. Entertainment, rides, music, and parade.

JULY

July 1: Fire Shaker Works. Open at 5 pm; 44337 County Line Rd., Columbiana. Music, food, fireworks after dark.

July 1: Canfield Fairgrounds Fireworks. 7265 Columbiana Canfield Rd., Canfield. gates open at 5:30 pm. Music by JD Eicher, bounce houses and food. Fireworks start 9:45 pm. $10 per car, $2 walk-in admission, kids free.

July 2: Austintown Fireworks Celebration. 6000 Mahoning Avenue. 7:45 pm

July 7-8: Christ Our Savior Parish Festival, St. Nicholas Church, Struthers. Games, rides, food.

July 8-9: Summer Festival of the Arts. Wean Park, 201 S. Phelps Street, Youngstown. 10 am to 5 pm Saturday, 11 pm to 4 pm. Music, food, crafts

July 8-9: Youngstown Comic Con. Canfield Fairgrounds, 7265 Columbiana-Canfield Rd., Canfield. 250 vendors, artists and vintage toys.

July 11-16: Trumbull County Fair. Truck & tractor pulls, rodeo, farm animals, demolition derby, food, vendors and rides.

July 19-22:  128th Lowellville Mt Carmel Festival, 102 Washington St, Lowellville. Come for the food, the music, the vendors, but we know we go for the baby doll dance.

July 21-22: Mahoning Valley Irish Festival. 460 E. Federal Street, Youngstown. Music, culture and food. Tickets are $5 each, children under 12 are free.

July 27-31:  Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Festival-Youngstown, 343 Via Mount Carmel Avenue, Youngstown. Food, rides, more.

July 31- Aug. 6: Columbiana County Fair. 225 Lee Ave., Lisbon. Farm animals, auctions, events, rides, vendors and food.

AUGUST

August 4, 5, 6: Greater Youngstown Italian Fest. W. Federal Street, Youngstown. Friday, 11 am to 11 pm; Saturday 1 pm to 11 pm.; Sunday 11 am to 11 pm. Food, music, vendors, pasta eating contest, homemade wine contest.

August 12-13; 19-20; 26-27: Shaker Woods Festival. 44337 County Line Rd, Columbiana. Food, artisan crafts

August 13: Our Lady of Sorrows Parish’s Slovak Heritage Festival. 915 Cornell St, Food, fun, live music, a basket raffle

August 27: Panerathon. Covelli Centre, 229 East Front Street.

August 30-Septmeber 4: Canfield Fair. 7265 Columbiana Canfield Rd., Canfield. The unofficial end of the summer is the fair, with vendors, rides, auctions and animals, and lots of food.
