YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Veterans from the Mahoning Valley were honored on Flag Day with a dedication from a senior living facility in Youngstown.

Patriot at Home Health Care partnered with Cornerstone Caregiving to dedicate a flag to those in the community who have served their country.

The flag was added to the veterans wall at the Canfield Place Senior Living Center in the Cornersburg neighborhood of Youngstown. Canfield Place Community Relations Manager, Mike Rigsby highlighted how important these veterans' service is to the community.

"Without them, we wouldn't have the freedoms that we have today, so [we're doing] anything we can do to acknowledge them and show them that we're thankful for their service," Rigsby said.

The dedication also included representatives from various branches of the armed forces
