ELLSWORTH TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A couple of dozen homes in Jackson and Ellsworth Townships lost electricity just before 7 a.m. Tuesday after poles and wires were pulled down.

Deputies reported finding two or three utility poles were snapped, sending wires and transformers to the ground along Diehl Road between Route 45 and South Bailey Road.

The wires were pulled down by a tractor-trailer.

First Energy estimates that power will be restored by 10 a.m.
