A Boardman man has died after a motorcycle accident in Portage County Wednesday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, around 5:30 a.m., Jeremiah Vaudrin, 32, was traveling westbound on Interstate 80 on his motorcycle when he lost control.

Vaudrin drove off the right side of the roadway, and was ejected from his motorcycle. The bike continued off the right side of the roadway and overturned into a ditch.

Vaudrin was pronounced dead at the scene. According to officers, he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and impairment is suspected to be a factor.

The crash is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Hiram Post.
