WELLSVILLE, Ohio - Kidication Learning Center will open a new community center for Upper River Valley Youth in Wellsville, with events scheduled for Saturday.

Kidication is celebrating their 10-year anniversary by announcing the grand opening of its newly purchased youth center across the street from its current location on Commerce Street in Wellsville. 

The new location will serve as a non-profit community center for the youth and their families in the area. Jamie Mitchell, co-owner and Administrator at Kiducation calls this, "a life dream unfolding before my eyes." 

A community event will be held Saturday, September 30, at the Kiducation learning center to give thanks to the community for their support and to celebrate the opening of the new Community Center, starting at 9 a.m.

Kiducation's vision is to be more than a childcare center and to continue to grow into a resource and outreach center for the youth and their families of Wellsville and the surrounding area.

Saturdays events:

A family Color Explosion Run/Walk starting at 9:00 AM.
Kiducation will be offering a array of free activities for families, including a free meal for the first 100 children, free snow cones, inflatable jumps, picture opportunities, character meet-and-greets, live goats, a foam party, live entertainment, chinese auction, face painting, local vendors, and with door prizes every hour.

Carr BBQ will also be offering local BBQ for purchase.

Registration can be done online here or in person at the event starting at 7:30 AM, with the run to follow at 9 AM. The cost for the color run is $10, with all proceeds benefiting Kiducation Community Center. *21 News spoke to event coordinators who say even though the website says $30, customers will only be charges $10.*
