COLUMBIANA, Ohio - The Columbiana County Career and Technical Center hosted its annual 'Manufacturing Your Future' event for high school students.

Students had the chance to learn about different careers in the manufacturing field by touring different local companies and the welding and industrial programs at CCCTC.

"ITS CRITICAL TO EXPOSE STUDENTS AT A YOUNG AGE TO NOT ONLY MANUFACTURING JOBS BUT SKILL TRADE POSITIONS THAT ARE FOR STUDENTS," cccTC PRINCIPAL JORDAN WILLIAMS SAID. "THESE ARE IN DEMAND JOBS AND ITS VERY IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS UNDERSTAND WHAT IS OUT THERE, WHAT IS AVAILABLE TO THEM AND HOW IT CAN IMPACT THEIR FUTURE AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES."

Students also had the chance to hear a message from Congressman Bill Johnson on different career paths after gradUation.
