Residents living in certain neighborhoods in Youngstown as well as Austintown may experience some lower water pressure in the coming days.

According to a press release, this is because the Youngstown Water Department will be performing maintenance on the water tank located on Moherman Avenue.

The draining process of the tank was originally scheduled to begin October 13 and the refilling process was expected to be completed by October 20. However, this had to be delayed due to a technical difficulty.

Now, the draining process is set to begin Monday, November 6 and refilling is expected to be completed by Monday, November 13. 

During this time, some customers living on Youngstown's west side and Austintown's east side may experience lower water pressure than usual.
