Two Valley men invited to attend Obama Foundation event for their community work

My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, a group focused on building safe and supportive communities for boys and young men of color, has invited two Valley people being recognized for their community work to attend the Obama Foundation's Fall Convening as well as the Obama Foundation's Democracy Forum and reception in November.
Two people from the Mahoning Valley have been invited to attend former President Barack Obama's event in Chicago: Guy Burney, Executive Director of the Community Initiative to Reduce Violence (CIRV), which is a partnership of law enforcement, social service agencies, and the community to reduce gun violence in Youngstown, and Kevin Douglas of My Brothers Keeper Youth Leadership Program, Youngstown, which works to solve problems for boys and young men of color.
The Obama Foundation event will occur in Chicago from November 1 through the 3.
