No levy for Canfield schools on March ballot

So far, the Canfield School District is 0-2 when it comes to trying to get a levy passed for at least one new school building.
Superintendent Joe Knoll says he thinks the middle school building is the highest priority to be replaced.
He told 21 News the district has spent more money to fix up and maintain that building than the others.
As far as the path forward - it's unclear.
Knoll said Wednesday on 21 News at 5:00 that the district had to fight off some misconceptions residents had about what the impact on their taxes would be.
He later told us that he wanted to hear from two new board members about how to proceed come January.
We then pressed him for specifics about what that path forward may look like.
"Of course the first option is to do nothing, which I don't think is a good idea," Knoll said. "It could be a different type of master plan project. Instead of what we've done in the past, it could be segmented as I like to call it, to look a little bit different than it has in the past."
Knoll added that an effort to try to put the levy back on the March ballot would've been too bogged down with time constraints to really do it effectively.
He said the earliest the district might go back before voters is November of next year.
