Applications for the Investments Supporting Partnerships in Recovery Ecosystems (INSPIRE) are now open, looking to address the region's substance use disorder crisis through opportunities for recovery and to hold sustainable employment.

Projects will include recovery-focused job training, coordinating recovery services, and investing in healthcare networks and partnerships that support recovery.

INSPIRE is a program run through the Appalachian Regional Commission and the Ohio Governor's Office of Appalachia.

Valley counties included in the Appalachian region are Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull.

A virtual pre-application workshop will be held on Feb. 8 to help interested applicants learn more about INSPIRE and applications.

Interested parties can visit arc.gov/inspire to learn more and to apply. Letters of Intent are due on Feb. 16, and final applications are due March 8.
