Youngstown council hosts budget hearing for 2024
As for the city's $82 million in ARP funds, they have less than $10 million unallocated left to use.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -
Youngstown City Council met Thursday afternoon to go over the city's budget for 2024.
Last month, 21 News reported on how the city's police overtime budget reached almost $3 million in 2023 due to a shortage of officers.
City council members say they will discuss police and fire budgets at a later date because they focus on smaller departments first, like the city's street department and code enforcement.
As for the city's $82 million in ARP funds, they have less than $10 million unallocated left to use.
