YSU Women Hoops: Open Horizon League tournament Tuesday hosting IUPUI

The Youngstown State women's basketball team picked up the 7th seed and host 10th seed IUPUI Tuesday night at Beeghly Center.
The teams split during the regular season with the Penguins winning 58-56, December 31st and the Jaguars winning a month later, 69-63 on their home floor.
"We're one of the better home enviornments in the league so any kind of advantage that we can get, we'll take," said interim head coach John Nicolais.
"Everything happens for a reason and the fact that we get one last game in front of our home fans, who are a great sixth man for us," stated senior Mady Aulbach.
The Penguins are 13-17 & 9-11 and IUPUI 7-22 & 5-15.
The Penguins have lost their last two games at home to the top two seeds in the conference, Cleveland State & Green Bay.
The Penguins have lost eight straight games in the month of March.
Tip off at Beeghly Center is 7:00pm with the winner moving into the quarterfinals Thursday.
