Tickets are on sale for a big fundraiser for the Mercer County Food Bank - It's called Empty Bowls.

Each 30 dollar ticket gets you soup, bread, dessert, a drink and a locally handcrafted bowl to take home as a reminder that food insecurity persists even after the event ends.

Every ticket purchased provides 120 meals to neighbors facing hunger in Mercer County.

The event is April 25th at the Hickory VFW.
