Touch-a-Truck event raising money for Hubbard Food Pantry to be held May 11

If you're looking for something big to do this weekend while also supporting a good cause - look no further.
A Touch-a-Truck event will be held May 11 at Hubbard High School in the back parking lot from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hosted by Hubbard's Career and Community Class, the event will feature a wide variety of trucks including dump trucks, semi-trucks, fire trucks and an ambulance.
Additionally, Mijavec's Catering & Concessions will be there to serve food during the event.
The goal of the event will be to collect food donations for the Hubbard Food Pantry in memory of Cody A. Pitts, who was part of the school's 2007 graduating class.
Some of the items they're looking for include pasta, instant potatoes, tuna pouches, soup, ramen, rice, mac and cheese boxes, granola bars and shelf-stable milk.
In 2015, Pitts was found dead from a single gunshot wound on North Main Street in Hubbard.
His death was ruled a homicide and to this day, the case remains unsolved.
