Local product Jarvis headed to NCAA Softball tournament
She played for Hubbard and Mathews in her high school career

Addy Jarvis is heading to the NCAA Softball tournament with the Miami Redhawks.
The former Hubbard & Mathews pitcher and her teammates open the tournament Friday against Virginia.
Jarvis, who graduated from Illinois transferred to Miami of Ohio, and earned first team All Conference with a 18-1 record. Her only loss coming to Oklahoma.
Last Saturday she pitched a one hit shutout in the MAC Championship game over Ball State, 8-0.
Miami is the second seed in the Knoxville Regional at the University of Tennessee. They lead the nation in home runs, (157) runs scored, and slugging percentage.
Following the completion of this season, Addy will be heading to the Netherlands to play professionally in July. She has an additional offer to play in Australia professionally this winter.
Follow completion of her playing career she looks forward to joining a Division I college softball staff.
