Softball: Canfield advances to state semi finals

The Cardinals play next Friday at 10:00am in Akron

The Canfield softball team is back in the state semi finals with a 3-0 win over Medina Buckeye.

The Cardinals will play the winner of Granville/Kenton Ridge next Friday at 10:00 at Firestone Stadium in Akron.

Canfield scored single runs in the first, fifth & sixth innings and Malena Toth had 17 strikeouts.

The Cardinals only collected three hits.
