Akron doctor arrested by Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force

An undercover sting operation conducted by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force and the Salem Police Department resulted in the arrest of an Akron-area doctor Thursday. The operation aims to target those attempting to buy sex online.
Dr. Hang Yin, 34, from Wadsworth, Ohio, responded to an ad agreeing to pay $100 for two acts of sexual conduct.
Agents said Yin arrived at the pre-determined location in Salem with condoms and the $100. He was then arrested by task force agents and assisting officers.
In an online chat included in the sting operation, Yin stated he worked at the Summa Health System in Akron and admitted to meeting other prostitutes.
Yin was taken to the Columbiana County Jail by the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Lisbon Post for Engaging in Prostitution and Possessing Criminal Tools.
