Route 46 in Canfield reopens after culvert replacement

CANFIELD, Ohio - Drivers who travel along a mile-long stretch of State Route 46 can resume their normal route now that a culvert replacement is finished.
The Ohio Department of Transportation reopened the portion of Route 46 between Leffingwell and Western Reserve Roads Thursday.
The reopening will save drivers some time as the detour was nearly 13 miles long and took about 18 minutes to drive.
Route 46 closed on Monday and was expected to remain closed for five days but reopened ahead of schedule.
