Two people were rescued from a seemingly gravity defying collision in Boardman on Friday.

On Hitchcock Road near the intersection with Route 224, an SUV appeared to have driven up the side of another car.

The Boardman Fire Department stabilized the white SUV before extracting two people from it. Neither were taken to the hospital, and no other injured were reported.

A section of Hitchcock Road was blocked while crews waited for a tow truck to get the car back on four wheels.

It's unclear how the crash happened. Crews are investigating.
